Tickford Automotive is synonymous with racing - an off-shoot of Tickford Racing which operates as one of the largest teams in the Repco Supercars Championship.
Now running parallel to Tickford Racing, Tickford draws on its racing heritage and engineers enhancements for a number of key Ford models. These include the Mustang, Ranger, Everest, Ranger Raptor and F150. Keeping to the core of the brands philosophy, Tickford also develop and build high performance special edition vehicles, in limited numbers, which have included the Allan Moffat-inspired Bathurst '77 Special, the TSV-535R and the HTZ-66 for the Australian Hertz rental fleet, paying homage to the 1966 Shelby Mustang GT350-H.

Tickford is commemorating one of the greatest moments in Australian motorsport, partnering with Allan Moffat to produce the Tickford Bathurst ’77 Special, a limited edition Tickford Mustang GT which pays homage to the Ford Falcon XC Coupe Moffat and team-mate Colin Bond drove to a famous 1-2 in the 1977 Bathurst 1000.

CELEBRATING FIFTY FABULOUS YEARS
50 years ago, Sandown race track witnessed the introduction of a special Ford Mustang that would soon become an icon of Australian motorsport. Driven by Allan Moffat, the car saw 101 victories from 151 races, amongst scores of qualifying and lap records.
